Project 01 is in final review
The design idea is decided and the 3D model already assembles from the dimensions. What is still running is the re-dimensioning: two versions were failed by three independent reviewers each, and the second proved the programme would not fit the original depth once every wall carried the thickness construction actually needs — which is why the platform grew towards the reservoir. No engineering number reaches this page before it passes audit.
What is already fixed
- A 14.50 m platform length, cut into a slope: retaining wall on one long face, the reservoir on the other
- A 12.50 m swimming lane, measured in the water, wall to wall
- Maximum floor depth of 2.00 m, guaranteeing at least 1.85 m of water
- The water sits against the glazing rather than in the middle: the circulation deck and the service strip stay on the retaining side, where the ground is higher
- Full programme allocated: sauna, whirlpool bath, children’s beach, submerged benches, drinks ledge, showers, two WCs and a plant room
- Covered entrance under an external canopy on one short face; the other is blind
What is not settled yet
- The platform depth. The client authorised cutting up to 9.00 m towards the reservoir, where the ground is lower and would be excavated anyway; the exact figure is what the current round is deciding, and every wall thickness follows from it.
